VIRGIN AUSTRALIA CELEBRATES RETURN TO AYERS ROCK AIRPORT (ULURU)
For the first time, Virgin Australia is offering direct flights to Ayers Rock Airport (Uluru) from Melbourne and Brisbane.
These new routes will expand the airline’s domestic network with two new direct services connecting the iconic destination with Melbourne and Brisbane, starting 6 June 2024 and 7 June 2024 respectively. Flights between Brisbane – Uluru will operate three (3) times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while Melbourne – Uluru services will operate up to four (4) times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Now it’s even easier to visit Uluru / Ayers Rock, the world-renowned, UNESCO World Heritage-listed cultural landmark that we’re blessed to have in our very own backyard. To celebrate, Virgin Australia has launched a mammoth sale on flights to the Red Centre from Melbourne and Brisbane. Lite Economy fares are from $169 one-way and are valid for sale until 20 March 2024 unless sold out prior. Valid for travel from Brisbane 26 August 2024 – 11 September 2024 and valid for travel from Melbourne 23 July 2024 – 10 September 2024. Lite Economy fares do not include checked baggage, seat selection nor eligible sectors for Velocity Status. Carry-on baggage is restricted to 7kg total (maximum 2 pieces).
