Qantas Restores In-Town Check-In for Customers Departing Hong Kong

Qantas customers departing Hong Kong for Australia can now check in and drop off their bags in the heart of the city before their flight, as the airline brings back its popular Airport Express In-Town Check-In service.

Travellers on Qantas’ daily flights to Sydney or Melbourne can take advantage of this convenient service at either Hong Kong Station or Kowloon Station. Once checked in, passengers’ baggage is transferred directly from the station to the aircraft via the Airport Express, allowing them to enjoy a full, baggage-free day in the city before their evening flight to Australia.

This service, which starts at 07:00am, is available exclusively to Qantas customers and is one of only three such services offered by airlines in Hong Kong. The Airport Express, which operates every 10 minutes, takes just 24 minutes to travel from Hong Kong Station to Hong Kong Airport.

This reinstated service offers both convenience and comfort for travellers, making their journey from Hong Kong to Australia even smoother.
