Emirates Takes Economy Comfort to New Heights

Forget the neck pillow. Emirates has unveiled the world’s first U-Dream Headrest, an innovative new feature designed to make Economy Class travel more comfortable than ever.

Developed in partnership with Safran Seats, the multi-way adjustable headrest features padded, fold-in side wings that gently cradle your head and neck while you rest. It also adjusts for height and tilt, providing personalised support throughout your journey and helping passengers arrive feeling more refreshed.

The new U-Dream Headrest is already flying on selected Airbus A350 aircraft and will be rolled out across the entire Emirates A350 fleet by the end of the year, before expanding to Boeing 777X aircraft and most retrofitted A380s and Boeing 777s from 2027.

It’s another example of Emirates’ commitment to raising the standard of Economy Class, proving that a more comfortable journey doesn’t have to come with a Business Class ticket.
