The Basin
Tucked along a quiet oxbow waterway,The Basin Hidecam sits just 5km from Selinda Camp, a Réserve-Collection and Relais & Châteaux safari retreat in Botswana’s private Selinda Reserve. From this peaceful vantage point, the action unfolds at the water’s edge.
While shallow waters mean fewer hippos and crocs at times, it’s a favourite stop for elephants and giraffes. With lush vegetation drawing in antelope and smaller wildlife, there’s a steady rhythm of life here, from grazing to golden-hour drinks.
Twin Pan
Located 8.5km from Zarafa Camp, a Réserve-Collection and Relais & Châteaux safari camp in Botswana’s private Selinda Reserve, the Twin Pan hidecam delivers a sweeping view of two adjoining seasonal pans.
When the rains arrive, these pans come to life, drawing in herds of elephant and buffalo, along with plains game and the predators close behind. With open skies above and water below, reflections shimmer across the surface, setting the scene for truly striking wildlife moments.
